OPERATION "HALCOMI"

Operation "Halcomi" was the second phase of Operation "Sphinx". Mobile scanners were put at the disposal of custom officers to fight against illicit drugs and contraband flowing into Cameroon from neighboring countries. Since the deployment of the "HALCOMI" OPERATIONS, custom officers have seized contraband products and yielded significant revenues which otherwise would have gone below the radar had it not been for such operations.
