The significance of this momentous occasion, was marked by the signature of the contract between TransAtlantic SA and the Port of Kribi. To commemorate this event of great importance was the entire US Embassy team, Director of the Port of Kribi and the Senior Divisional Officer of Ocean Division. The signature of the contract was crowned by the fact that, TransAtlantic S.A. was granted fifteen (15) year to manage and control the scanning operations at the Port of Kribi.

TransAtlantic S.A. has a concession agreement for 15 years for the installation, maintenance, and operation of Scanners (SENTRY® PORTAL) at the PAK. We are responsible for a 100% scanning operation at the importation and exportation of cargo. These AS&E Sentry systems now carry a CERTIFICATION allowing containers to be shipped directly from the Port of Kribi to the United States, which without the certification would not be possible.

A delegation of dignitaries from the Kribi Autonomous Port, Cameroon, including the leadership team at TransAtlantic Business Consulting visited the factory and headquarters of AS&E at Billerica Massachusetts, USA. This visit was a fact finding mission to understand the capabilities of AS&E as well as understanding the application and deployment of their products in Cameroon. This trip would later become fruitful as AS&E are one of our most valuable business partners.

TransAtlantic Business Consulting conducted a two-week operational training course for the gendarmerie officers of the Secretariat of State in charge of National Gendarmerie. The focus of this training was to ensure that these gendarmerie officers obtained the knowledge, skill, and operational knowhow to effectively operate the ZBV vehicles. The end of this training was marked by each trainee receiving a certificate of completion.

This occasion marked the inauguration of the Port of Kribi. Dignitaries at this grand event included the Minister of Transport, Minister of Housing and Urban Development, The Director General of CRTV and a host of other Ministers, and distinguished government personnel. Director General of TransAtlantic S.A. Kribi, Mr. Edwin Nche and his team were present to give a tour of the Port of Kribi, showcase its capabilities and highlight the security and scanning amenities.

Twentieth May is Cameroon's National Day. This day is marked by festivities including the showcase of the latest military gear and equipment. On this day, TransAtlantic Business Consulting provided and fitted bomb suits to members of the Special Operations Unit of the police force (GSO). These bomb suits were being fitted in preparation to participate in the 20th May matching celebrations.
